Meeting at Croft Trail car park on Sunday at 10am. I’ll be staying until it’s dark at around 17:30. Everyone will be welcome, even if you just want to come along and say hello.
We intend to use the rubble to get Piper’s hill back into shape. This is one of our favourite bits of trail and some parts have been trashed during the endless wet weather. The idea is that we’re going to build up the sunken sections with large rocks/rubble/bricks etc so that the affected bits of trail become weather proof.
We’ve got quite a few tools, but if you have a spade, shovel, pick axe, mattock, saw, axe or loppers bring them along. Wheel barrows are useful too. We’ve got a few of our own barrows.
Tom.
