Join Quentin Wilkins on Sunday 21 May for a ride up to the Ridgeway from Shrivenham Village taking in Ashdown House, Odstone Coombe, Waylands Smithy and the impressive Knighton Down.
Not convinced and need to see the details? OK – well, it is 31Km (negotiable) taking in 288m of climb across the course. Nothing too technical and all novice-friendly, but do note there are hills and one or two technical features is you fancy them! It will be a steady pace, nobody will be left behind and Q is open to adjusting the route as the group dictates.
No cafe en route, however, Shrivenham village has a Farm shop selling coffee and cake and a full-on Deli cafe selling coffee and cake so there is plenty on offer both pre- and post-ride if you need it.
Ample (free) parking next to the Shrivenham Bowls club (///spring.drain.wired) and at the Memorial hall (///curls.riper.developer) – these carparks are 100m apart and visible from each other and I’ll make sure I sweep them both before we head off. We will meet at the Memorial Hall at 10.00 ready to set off.
