Previous ride report from the Forest of Dean in September 2010 (novice friendly). This event was organised by DiRT CC club (DiRT CC Website, Facebook group). They’re a group of mountain bikers from Gloucestershire. They’ve got a similar attitude to MBSwindon; keen to enjoy riding rather than a bunch of bike bores or fitness nuts.

Cwmcarn is one of the big name trail centres in Wales. It’s also the closest, being just North of Newport. There’s a cross country loop as well as a downhill track. It is possible to join the two together. We’ll probably do the whole XC route this time though. Meet at 10am at the Cwmcarn
