After a mild January the temperatures had dropped below zero and a cold weekend with the possibility of snow was forecast. Trail build report: Limestone delivery
Earthline delivered another 20 tonnes of limestone at the trail today. This will be used to finish the triangle section on the upcoming build days (see our events calendar for build days). I’ll add up how much we got through last year soon. I think it’s over 100 tonnes. Trail build update page.

The temperature gauge in my car was showing minus 4.5 degrees C as I drove round Cirencester at 8:15am on Saturday morning. It was cold and it was dry. Cold and dry doesn’t feel as cold without dry. A quick review of what we got up to last year: 15th Oct 2010: 60 tonnes delivered Dec 2010 trail build plans. 28th Dec 2010: new line before triangle. Sat 8th Jan 2011: motorway 2 berms and surfacing. Sun 9th Jan: largest turnout (16 people!) motorway 2 surfacing. Sat 22nd / Sun 23rd Jan: Surfacing
