It’s the new year and you’ve promised yourself that you’re going to get out and ride more this year… but it’s so cold out there!
Well here’s your opportunity to get together with the rest of us who are finding it hard and get a few miles under your belt. This will be a relaxed, sociable ride to ease us into the new year.
We’ll meet at Coate Water ready for a 9.30am start. Meet near the diving platform. The ride will be 14 miles long and we’ll probably be out for about two hours. We’ll head up to Chiseldon, ride a bit of the Ridgeway and head back down to Coate. There will be nothing particularly difficult, but it may well be wet and muddy.
There are no cafe stops along the way so bring a drink and snack, along with a spare tube to speed up any puncture repairs. There’s the possibility of a pub visit at the end.
