This is a really fun ride event in mid Wales. It’s probably my favourite annual ride, and I’ve been on every one since 2001. The long route is about 30 miles of cross country with 3 beer stops along the way. It always ends with a big drinking session in Llanwrtyd Wells on the Saturday night. A small number of riders do the ride on the Sunday too. It often rains, it once snowed, but a few times it’s been bright sunlight too.

Most people travel down on the Friday so they can make a start on the drinking on the Friday night. There is a camp site, but I tend to stay in the Neudd Arms hotel, plus there are several B&B’s and guest houses in the area.
