We had the biggest turnout yet, with 13 riders. Conditions were as good as it gets; totally dry. As usual we did three laps of the trail. We tried out the new jumps on the almost finished Red section. They work really well. The new berms near the pond work too, as does Pete’s climb.
We had two bike casualties. Both involved breaking hangars. Mark fell of the woodwork in the triangle. I know because I was right behind him.
Mark lent me his single speed for a test lap. I got on with alright. Starting off feels like the wrong gear, but once you’re moving then it’s fine.
Trail from cycle track on Old Town hill.
Sub beginners before the ride.
