The 2011 MBSwindon Christmas party is being held on the Saturday before Christmas eve at the Check Inn in Wroughton. This is a great opportunity to use the special party photo again (look to the right). Price will be £25 per person for 3 courses plus coffee/tea/mince pies and menu is as follows:
Starters
- Honey roast parsnip soup with crispy parsnip shaves, bread roll and butter
- King scallops with black pudding served warm on a bed of seasonal leaves with vinaigrette dressing
- Woodpigeon breasts served warm on a bed of seasonal leaves tossed with bacon lardons.and chopped walnuts with a vinaigrette dressing
- Tomato & pesto millefeuille with mixed leaves and balsamic dressing
Main Courses
- Roast turkey with all the trimmings
- Roast beef & yorkshire pudding
- Pan fried herb crusted monkfish on a bed of carrot puree
- Wild mushroom and brandy strudel
Desserts
- Christmas pudding
- Raspberry and amaretti cheesecake
- Strawberry shortcake
- Elderflower jelly with mixed soft fruits
