Mark Horsington leads this social ride on Sunday 20th August. Starting at Ashton Keynes, this suitable-for-all ride will include a bit of everything. Byways, bridleways, quiet roads, quiet lanes and some urban cycle paths – riding through Cirencester on the way back. There will be some riding on tarmac, but they are quiet roads that we will use to link up the byways.
The ride won’t be technical, but it will be 30 miles long, with a gentle 1,100ft of climbing so you should be happy riding this mileage. Nobody will be left behind!
There will be no cafe stops en route so bring food and anything else needed (coat, spare tubes etc.) – plenty of food options at the end.
Be ready to start at 9.30am from The Gateway Centre car park, Spine Road South Cerney GL7 5TL.
