Ladies Forest of Dean Trail Centre meet

Please note… the car park is a pay and display and the current charges are £3.50 a day, please bring change for the car park machine.

Sharon Bassindale and Jenny Wright will be leading this ladies only trails day. They are both experienced trail riders and will be able to share their considerable skills and knowledge to make your experience all the more enjoyable.

Expect plenty of climbing along way marked trails on hardpacked or natural surfaces, but it can all be taken at your own pace. There may well be some wet areas but the Forest of Dean trails are seldom very muddy. There will be plenty of stops to discuss the next trail feature and recovery time . The uphill bits will be rewarded with some lovely views and some wonderful descents.

Although we will stop at the café for refreshments during the day, please feel free to bring snacks and drink with you on the trail . It can be surprisingly tiring and refuelling is a good idea. We shall start on the small skills course for ladies to practice on and then gently progress to the very popular Verderers trail.

Please make sure you have your helmet with you and if you have knee pads and elbow pads feel free to wear them. This ride will give you a great insight into what to expect at our ladies Brechfa weekend in September.

The post code for the trail centre using a Sat Nav is GL16 7EH. The Pedalabikeaway trail centre has its own website if you would like further information and a full contact address.

We look forward to seeing you all.
