This is an out and back ride.
Chris says
“This Saturday I’m leading a Sustrans “fresh air miles ride” from Coate to Marlborough and back to raise awareness of the friends of the railway path group. Saturday will be the 50th annivesary of the last passenger train along this railway.
Although not a particularly exciting route from a mountain biking point of view we do use part of the path on some of our club rides. It’s also an integral part of the route of many of the big local charity rides including the Castles ride and Prospect ride. It’s hoped that with funding raised by Sustrans and the friends of the railway path that this route can become something similar to the Bristol to Bath railway path and add something to cycling in and around Swindon.
Meet for 10:30am start at the Coate Water car park.
Event info on Friendsofthepath website.
Can I check the start time because the Sustrans page says (meet) at 10:00?

The Friends of the Path website says 10:30am. I’ll try to find out. I suggest turning up for 10am.
