Road riding is a great way of improving fitness. If you are already fit from mountain biking then you’ll be amazed at the distances you can cover on roads. Some think of it as mountain biking with the interesting bit removed. Others appreeciate that it can still be a lot of fun.

On Sunday 17th October 2010 they’re running the Severn Bridge Sportive, a 100 mile route from Castle Combe circuit and back again via the Forest of Dean.
