It was another cold day with snow and ice on the ground. The sun was shining though.
After Chris dropped the power barrow off then Phil and myself used the last of our remote gravel pile to do a small modification to the trail. This was on the straight section just before the start of the Piper’s hill steps. One of the regular dog walkers had told us that riders were racing out onto the track and had almost run him over. By extending one corner we then added a tight S bend that should slow riders down.
We were joined by Gary who was given an anger management job – smashing up the old trail.
In the afternoon we resurfaced the section at the end of Piper’s hill from the rock spine downwards. The old trail was dug out and properly bench cut. We were joined by Mr Anon.
