Two more qualified leaders on the team!

Following on from our hugely successful “Introduction To Mountain Biking” training courses held over the summer we’re pleased to announce that we’ve got two more qualified instructors. MBSwindon team members Chris Hopkinson & Pete Ratcliffe passed their MIAS Mountain Bike Leadership Level 2 qualification at the weekend. Congratulations to both of them!

Putting this to good use, Chris, Pete and Rafe (who qualified back in February) will be running a series of training events in the new year covering  both novice & intermediate levels. We’ll announce these in our newsletter and on our events page in due course – keep an eye out if you’re interested as the courses in 2010 were booked up extremely quickly.

Finally, a huge thanks to the CTC Swindon Cycling Champions project (funded by the Big Lottery) for their assistance with funding.
