Two days of riding on this weekend trip to Shropshire.
We’ll be staying in the Blazing Bikes camping pods at Marshbrook near Church Stretton. There’s a pub right there which is handy.
On Saturday we’ll be riding straight from the site onto the Long Mynd.
The Long Mynd is a reasonably compact areas with several large hills and a lot of natural trails in it. It gives great views over Shropshire and bits of Wales.

On Sunday we’ll travel a few miles down the road to the new trails at Hopton Woods. Sarah Peters has a clever route for us that uses local natural trail and then loops back into the blue grade trail.
Hopton Woods is famous for its downhill tracks. Local bike shop Pearce Cycles offer uplift days there. See their events page for more information.
