This was a build evening for Phil and Tom. When we arrived then the basis of a route on the North side of the pitch had already been marked out by Steve Smith and his wife. They were responsible for the trail at that time, relinquishing this to Phil in early 2009. We quickly reached the end of the staked out route and took the initiative and carried on through the trees. We tweeked the route slightly a few weeks later but the majority of what we cut out is still there today. It was surfaced in April 2009 though was in need of remedial work by 2012. |
